Practice​

  • Start with the lowest complete minor pentatonic scale pattern available in a given key.
  • Play the I7, IV7 and V7 chords which go with that scale pattern.
  • Play the scale again.
  • Now play the i7, iv7, and v7 chords.
  • Move up to the next pattern and repeat the procedure.
  • Do this all the way up and back down the fingerboard in all keys.
