Chords and Progressions

9th Chords

Ninth chords function the same as seventh chords, so they can be used anywhere a seventh chord can. Wherever you can use a I7 chord, you can use a I9 chord, and so on.

They sound smoother, jazzier, and maybe more sophisticated.
