  • Play both major and minor scales (method 2):
    • In a given key, find the lowest note for which both major and minor boxes are completely available.
    • Play the minor pentatonic ascending.
    • Shift the left hand to the corresponding major pentatonic box position and play the major pentatonic descending.
    • Switch around and start with the major ascending and minor descending.
